Outlook Tasks Reading Through Existing Tasks

After you create a list of "Tasks" you will need to be able to get to them to read them. Do the following activity to go to and read through your "Tasks." When you are finished move to the link at the bottom of this page titled "BACK" to go to the "Outlook Lessons" web page.

1. Open Outlook.

2. Press Control 4 to move to the "Tasks" area. You are in an edit box titled "Click here to add a new task." You can either type a name of a new task, or down arrow to an existing task and hit the Enter key to open that "Task." If you do type a new "Task" you will need to hit the Tab key one time, and then down arrow through the list of "Tasks."

3. If you have opened a "Task," tab your way through the items, reading information, and making any needed changes.

4. If you have made no changes to the "Task," hit the Escape key to exit and be placed back in the "Tasks" list. If you did make changes, press Alt s to save and close the "Task."

5. Practice the above until you are quick and accurate.
